The Dyslexia Services Foundation has more requests for dyslexia services than it can possibly serve. The problem is a lack of funding. Please help us serve these struggling readers, writers and spellers by donating today.
Millions of children in the U.S. struggle with reading disabilities, such as dyslexia.
Public school reading intervention programs do not seem to be working. While clinicians in private practice may be able treat reading-disabled children, low-income families cannot afford to pay for professional therapy for their children.
The repercussions of untreated dyslexia do not end in childhood; adults unable to read, write or spell struggle continually with issues of employment, finance, communication, personal and professional stability and even helping their own children handle school and other daily challenges.
The Dyslexia Services Foundation is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization that supports dyslexia treatment services for children from low-income families and expanded public awareness of dyslexia through the funding of documentaries, events and other activities.
